This weekend

So I am trying to do laundry and such today to get ready for the weekend!! Aaron, Emma and I are heading to the mountains! I am excited about this because now that Emma is older she can actually enjoy the sights of the mountains! The last time we went up to visit Aaron's family, she had JUST turned 10 months old... so now at 16 months she is a lot more aware of her surroundings!! I am hoping to get to look at the parkway sometime while we are there! In the dozen times that Aaron and I have been to the mountains the past few years I havent been able to get up the mountain at all!! I want to actually enjoy some of the sites this time!!

I am also very excited to see family, it has been 7/8 months since we have seen Aaron's grandparents, and I know they will be thrilled to see Emma!! She was barely crawling the last time we went up there, so it will be interesting to see her running around everywhere!! :)

Now that I have my new camera, I hope to take TONS of pictures to post!!

I guess now I need to be washing all the warm clothes, because it looks like its gonna be cloudy and in the low 40's the entire time, so I need to make sure we are all bundled up!!

The First "Official" Post!!

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving.
I know we did!
It was Emma's 2nd Thankgiving, and she enjoyed her self a lot more than she did last year. She ate all the Thanksgiving fixins!! :)

This weekend we are very excited about taking a trip to the Asheville, Canton/Enka Candler area to visit all of Aaron's family, since we did not have a chance to go up there for Thanksgiving. We are going earlier than Christmas, just in case there is snow and we wont be able to make it up there.

Emma will be taking her annual Christmas photo for our Christmas cards this week, the cards will be in the mail by Monday, or at least I hope! I am debating doing a "merry Christmas and Happy New Year" one just to get it done all at one time. The dress we bought her is just adorable! I cant wait for the Christmas season now that she is older. She is already enjoying all the Christmas festivities and its not even December yet!!

We will be buying and decorating our tree this week! We are very excited to decorate Emma's first tree!! Last year Emma was only 4/5 months old at Christmas time, and we were way too busy to decorate one!!

Emma is now officially 16 months old as of yesterday! I can not believe how fast time is flying for our little girl. I told myself that once Emma reached 16-18 months old, I would start trying for another baby... so I dont know if I am quite there yet, but I think we will be trying for another sometime very very soon!! :) We cant wait to bring anotehr baby into the world... hopefully a boy this time.. but I think we need to wait a little while longer, I am hoping to start trying for a new one sometime in the new year!! Hopefully by July or August, that way Emma will be 2 before the new little one arrives!! We already have names picked out!! I am PRAYING for a boy, cause I promised Aaron that if it wasnt a boy, we will try for baby number 3, but if it IS a boy, that will be our last child!! :)

Anyways, I hope to update on this at least once or twice a week!!

Hello!!

Well, I thought since ALL of my friends have a blog spot about their friends/family/life in general, I too should start a blog of my own!!

I look forward to posting about events and having all of you be in the know about my life!! Not that my life is all that interesting, but I think blogging is a great way to keep in touch!! :)
